The Better Place is a 501c3 non-profit organization The Better Place is a ministry with a three-fold mission; to equip the Church to be a house of prayer for the nations, to assist pastors with Sabbatical experiences, and to facilitate the networking of the Church for transformational revival. Miller was a senior pastor for twenty-two years and then a District Superintendent for six years in the United Methodist denomination of the Church. He earned a Master of Divinity degree from Gordon-Conwell Theological Seminary in 1975 and a Doctor of Ministry degree from Drew University School of Theology in 1984. Dr. Miller travels worldwide and across the nation to spread the importance and power of partnering with God through prayer. He most recently preached in Uganda May 2018.
