I help you reach your audience and communicate fluidly with it. If you want to get your message across in today's changing global world you need to overcome the linguistic barriers that impede intercultural communication. I have a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Translation and Interpreting (English/German > Spanish/Catalan) from Pompeu Fabra University in Barcelona in 2005 and a Master's Degree in Scientific and Technical Translation (English > Spanish), earned at the same university in 2006. I am member of the Association of Professional Translators and Interpreters of Catalonia (APTIC) and the International Association of Translators and Writers of Medicine and Related Sciences (TREMÉDICA). I started working in an agency dedicated to sworn translations and interpreting, where I also worked as an interpreter from English, German, and Italian into Spanish and viceversa at the courts, the public prosecutor’s offices, and the police stations in Barcelona. Later I worked with two different companies translating and proofreading patents and technical texts (mainly medicine and pharmaceuticals) from English and German into Spanish. In parallel to that I have worked for SEM (Medical Emergency System) and for two other companies (one in the United States and the other in Spain) as a medical and social telephone interpreter from English, German, and Italian into Spanish, and vice versa. I have also translated several articles from English into Spanish for medical institutions (International Myeloma Foundation, PETHEMA, and Fundació Clínic) as well as various equestrian books from German into Spanish for a publishing house.
