The Association of Romanians in New England (AR-NE) first organized educational seminaries for the public under the name BRP (Boston Romanian Professionals). The initial aim was to stimulate communication between Romanian-American professionals in the geographical area centered around Boston, Massachusetts, USA. Encouraged by the enthusiasm of participants in these events, the volunteer organizers incorporated the new organization AR-NE as a non-profit institution to promote Romanian-American cultural exchanges and all other charitable initiatives related to the Romanian-American Community of New England.
