In May 2000, an 18 year old South African boy arrived in London, England. He was here to further his education, to study politics and history, so that he could better his life, pursue a career in government and support his family at home. When he arrived his plans did not work out and that optimistic, happy boy ended up living on the streets in London, feeling hopeless and alone. However, the kindness and empathy of a stranger in London Victoria Station, gave him a life line, lifted him up and set him on his path into hospitality and for that, we are grateful. 20 years on Kingdom Thenga has remained within hospitality, becoming an aficionado of the industry. He has built up a wealth of knowledge on products, brands and cuisines, so much so his expertise are often called upon to make recommendations for events. Kingdom Recommends is a company built upon Kingdom's life experiences, his passion for quality and most importantly the spirit of "Ubuntu" - I am because we are. This is about hope, dreams and of belief that together we are stronger. The company will be focusing on launching its own brands and products over the next 12 months, come and follow our journey.
