Shout About Suffolk exists purely to nurture the next generation of business start-ups via innovation and entrepreneurial thinking. This will be achieved by providing the support facilities, expert mentoring and networking opportunities within a 3-year incubation period, giving the businesses self-sufficiency and a road map to success. The aim is simple, as a team we will help drive innovation, encourage entrepreneurship whilst at the same time promoting Suffolk Talent. The Big Company Job for Life is a thing of the past and in this ever-changing world and political challenging landscape, young enterprise must be the future and therefore nurtured. The Lab will house 6-8 start-up companies and support them through initial funding with access to a start-up loan and a three-year mentoring and business support programme. We will also offer hot desking for those who have start up ideas or run a start-up/small business and want to have likeminded people around them and be in an entrepreneurial environment. Alongside this we will have our Mentoring and Networking Club where members can get discounted hot desking, and access to mentoring and networking sessions. Through our Corporate Membership Support Programme we will offer 30 bursaries where young entrepreneurs with business ideas get free membership and 1 to 1 mentoring. Shout About is all about social enterprise and everything we do is about nurturing support for Suffolk Entrepreneurs, especially within the emerging generations.
