Founded in 2007, Spike IT is a specialized technology consultancy in Griffith New South Wales, Australia that focuses on assisting businesses and individuals improve their productivity using technology. Spike technologies has high levels of experience in technologies such as Microsoft 365, Security SharePoint, Microsoft Teams plus Azure as well as desktop applications such as Outlook, Word, Excel, and OneNote. With special emphasis placed on the business benefits of technology Spike technologies is unique in its ability to work with companies to improve and streamline their processes utilizing the technology they already have in place. The focus is on providing an improved end result for the business which in the long run leads to greater productivity and profitability. Principal Simon Kirkman (aka Spikey), born on 18th June 1972 and raised by a loving mother and father who were battlers worked hard on the family property at Whitton New South Wales Australia, growing rice, wheat, corn, and canola. After a motorbike accident occurred on family farm in 1983 that left me a T10 (incomplete) paraplegic, which I was 10 years old at the time. Since acquiring my injury, I have completed Bachelor of computer science whilst working as technical support at Bartter Enterprises for 9 years, which later lead to working for myself as a sole trader as HP onsite hardware engineer to Technical Solutions Specialist for 17 years, which developed in a small company SPK IT Pty Ltd involvement with information technology specialist. I have also completed courses in drafting and welding fabrication, and on completion I saw 3D printing in action and acquired two 3D printers, which I use to design and print small parts for my wheelchairs from ABS composite plastic to Carbon Fibre parts through Spike 3d printing.
