Lagom (pronounced law-gum) is the Swedish philosophy of living a life rooted in balance. The art of “lagom” is the art of moderation and the word loosely translates to “just the right amount”! The brand started as a brainchild of founders Chandrika Ahuja and Ishita Jhunjhunwala, classmates at Duke University’s Fuqua’s School of Business. The goal was simple: for Lagom to become India’s go-to snack discovery platform - giving customers access to premium boutique products and in turn offering visibility to smaller local vendors selling those products. One of Lagom’s primary objectives is making natural, raw, and unprocessed products more accessible to consumers. To this end, we launched our own fresh farm product line including products such as the superfood bee pollen and natural honey. Today, Lagom is more than just a platform for curated snack boxes, it is a lifestyle! Lagom is all about finding that sweet spot of “feel-good” eating. We as a society are moving away from toxic diet cultures and depriving ourselves; self-love is about the balance of indulging in your cravings while also treating your body right. Lagom has all the snacking options to help you find what that balance means to YOU! All this while being a female-run business supporting our female partners, promoting local vendors, and breaking the monotony in the consumables industry.
