Pratt Abbott
www.prattabbott.comPratt Abbott is a family owned dry cleaning business that has been serving Maine and New England since 1944. With 13 locations throughout New England and over 160 Maine-based employees, Pratt Abbott is the largest dry cleaning chain in the area. We are proud to provide the best eco-friendly cleaning available, and offer free pick up and delivery for both residential and business customers. In addition, Pratt Abbott supports the hospitality community with full-service uniform and linen rentals featuring premium brands and "dry clean finishing." As a community-based business, we value our ability to give back. We support local theater by regularly cleaning costumes for several companies free of charge. We also clean all of the clothing for campers and counselors at Camp Susan Curtis, a tuition-free summer camp for disadvantaged children. And, together with the Salvation Army, Pratt Abbott launched the Coats for Kids program in 1983. Each year the program collects over 26,000 gently-used coats. Pratt Abbott cleans them for free and distributes them to children in need. For nearly 70 years, Pratt Abbott's commitment has been deeply ingrained in the business--whether that means a pristinely pressed wedding dress, a place for meaningful employment, or warm, clean clothes for kids.
