We believe that by gaining a thorough understanding of the people we work with, and their context, is key to helping them realise their vision. We consider a project’s long-term sustainability, even if it means telling someone they don’t need a new building after all. We often act as match-makers, initiating mutually beneficial partnerships between socially motivated site owners and complementary organisations. And when it's needed, we design better spaces and places for everyone. We believe that inclusivity is to recognise that an individual’s experience of the built environment can be entirely different because of their background. Since 1969, we have evolved an immersive and user-focused approach to design, and discovered ways to engage meaningfully with people who otherwise have little influence. With these innovative and pragmatic design processes, we create uplifting places for people.
