Girls Inc.’s mission is inspiring all girls to be strong, smart, and bold. Our vision is empowered girls and women in an equitable society. Since 1955, Girls Inc. of Santa Fe has been a strong advocate for the changing needs of girls and young women in Santa Fe. Girls Inc. of Santa Fe is THE positive development and risk prevention organization for Santa Fe girls. We believe the Girls Inc. experience equips girls to navigate gender, economic, and social barriers and grow into healthy, educated, and independent adults. We work with girls ages 5-18 through After School, Spring Break and Summer Camps, Outreach, Workshops, and Collaborations. Our programs are researched and developed on a national level and cover Careers and Life Planning, Health and Sexuality, Leadership and Community Action, Sports and Adventure, Self-Reliance and Life Skills, and Culture and Heritage.
