Former US Army Airborne Ranger and current Assistant Dean at University of Massachusetts Dartmouth, Neal Gouck, has announced plans to construct a 14ft wind tunnel at Patriot Place, near Gillette Stadium, the home of the New England Patriots in Foxborough, MA. The facility will offer a "peak experience." The four-floor building will be highlighted by a wind tunnel that customers to feel like they are skydiving, along with a virtual parachuting simulator which will allow guests to pick where they land. "Maybe they get to drop the game ball onto the 50-yard line at Gillette Stadium," Gouck said. Work on the tunnel is underway putting the tentative opening date sometime in the fall of 2022.
