My name is Lori Johnson-Salata. I have been a photographer and art enthusiast for many years. In fact, too many years to list here. Photography began as my hobby in high school and then progressed into my life's work. In 1998 I fell victim to corporate downsizing. I decided to leave the business world and embark on a new path. I turned my passion for photography into my career. I am an on location portrait artist who specializes in natural lighting, and studio lighting. Once you contact me to schedule a session, I will ask you a few questions to really get a feel of the type of pictures you would like. We will also talk about a location for your session. I have several location suggestions that make for beautiful backgrounds. If you would prefer to do the session at your home, that will work too! I am always open to any suggestions or preferences you may have. My style is very relaxed because I want to capture your expressions and moments as they unfold. If you have children please know that being a mother myself, I have a lot of patience and I am experienced in photographing even the squirmiest of little subjects! Typical sessions usually last about an hour. If more time is needed please know that I will not rush you, I want to make sure to take as much time as needed to capture beautiful portraits.
