Southland Creative is a team of professionals on the NSW South Coast who collaborate on various creative, film, arts, publishing, music and educational projects with a strong social benefit. Individually, we have broad expertise in cinematography, animation, music composition, graphic design, journalism, education, research, community engagement and organisational governance. Together, we strive for a stronger community, culture, environment and identity. Our projects tackle issues such as Aboriginal youth unemployment, social disadvantage, ecological and environmental sustainability, community connection, indigenous recognition, and the importance of the arts. (But we really also love any idea that helps solve a problem.) Based in the Illawarra and Shoalhaven, we are proudly made on the South Coast, and wish to acknowledge the traditional owners of the Jerrinja Wandi Wandian land on which we live and work.
