OSWALD Elektromotoren GmbH is a family-owned company in the South of Germany. With around 180 employees Oswald produces customised, compact Electric Motors and Generators, following customer specifications regarding electrical and mechanical design. OSWALD motors are known as compact and robust, with high power density, low inertia, high dynamic. The product range starts at 10kW and includes PM High Torque Motors with up to 3500kW power and 200kNm rated torque; PM Synchronous Motors with up to 1500kW power, speed range up to 3000rpm; AC Induction Motors with up to 3000kW; PM linear motors up to 20kN. OSWALD supplies motors for a wide range of Industry and Marine Applications. New technologies and customised developments are part of the program. The company is more than 100 years old and has long experience with speed-regulated AC and PM motors.
