Healthcare Belgium is a non-profit organisation established in 2007 by the most prominent Belgian hospital groups as well as many leaders of the medical technology industry in Belgium. The Belgian excellence in Health and Education -nr. 2 according to the Global Competitiveness Index- allows us to help other countries in improving their healthcare system. The objective of Healthcare Belgium is to internationalise the outstanding Belgian medical sector by offering unique collaboration opportunities. As a result, we hold a multitude of international collaboration agreements at the level of the Ministries of Health, academic institutions and hospitals, comprising -amongst other things- patient treatment (on site and at a distance), fellowships, teaching, technology implementation, consultancy, etc. provided by our members.
