Franz Architects

www.franzarchitects.com

In 1983 our company was incorporated in May as Freeman+Franz Associates. Soon after, the two partners decided to part ways, and William Franz kept the company. Mr Franz quickly assumed three new partners changing the name to Franz Jeanes Lazo Cora, & Associates, Inc. Business was great and was going good. Over time the three other partners began to retire or decided to go and try other things. This time since having already gone through a name change, Mr. Franz decided to keep the name; One to not affect a long standing government contract and two people had become accustom to it. Fast forward 25 years, Franz, Jeanes, Lazo Cora and Associates started using the acronym FJLC in an attempt to freshen up our look and simplify our name. As time has passed we constantly got asked about the other three partner names. “Where is Mr. Jeanes?” or phone calls wanting to speak with Mr. Cora. Since they weren’t with FJLC any longer we politely let them know and started thinking. After 33 years we decided it was time to rebrand ourselves. After a lot of internal debate/discussion we decided that changing our name to FRANZ architects would more accurately reflect who we are today. The people that make up our great company and the duties they perform. Our name has changed but our history is still the same - same great people, same impeccable quality work.
