TRZ Communications is a communications technology and consulting firm that focuses on helping companies, sports teams, educational institutions, nonprofits, and political campaigns succeed by enabling its clients to efficiently reach their target audiences. TRZ offers multiple resources that can help regardless of size, geographic location or finances. Initially, TRZ provided live play-by-play of professional and collegiate sporting events via the telephone before the internet. Its flagship TEAMLINE service, launched in 1988, held exclusive contractual relationships with the NFL, NBA, NHL, MLB and ALL major college sports teams and conferences. That service was spun off into TRZ Sports Information Services, Inc. in 1996. That same year, TRZ also began to offer live coverage of business meetings and religious services. TRZ Communications continued to provide networking services to sports radio networks and emergency backup services to major news and information networks. It was one of the first emergency notification systems for parents, students, and school staff in the United States. It allows parents and caregivers to be reached during emergencies via phone and email – all within minutes. The sender can reach everyone in the school or select any group easily.
