TogetherNow
www.systemsintegration.orgThe Systems Integration Project (SIP) began in 2017 with the idea that collaboration and community are the keys to combatting poverty in Rochester and Monroe County. The central mission was to create a new way for people in need to access care. With the help of IBM, SIP started work on MyWayfinder, an online platform for individuals and service providers to interact and coordinate care. As the effects of COVID-19 reached our community, the work of SIP expanded, and it continues to expand as more and more important work arises. With this growth comes a new name: TogetherNow. The work of SIP continues as TogetherNow draws upon the knowledge and passion of people working throughout our community to improve lives, together. TogetherNow is funded in part by New York State, and United Way of Greater Rochester serves in a coordinating role on behalf of the community. Commitment to Equity: All staff and volunteers who are part of TogetherNow formally and adamantly affirm their commitment to creating a re-imagined system that is equitable, just, and anti-racist. Participation from community members is actively sought and project components are evaluated through a community-led Equity Review process. Cultural Priorities & Values: Staff, volunteers, and organizations connected to TogetherNow are expected to approach their work and our community with the following priorities and values: Be Transparent, Be Accountable, Be Community Focused, Be Agile, and Be Respectful and Listen.
