Established in 2019, Hungry Minds, Inc. is a non-profit, charitable organization founded by the Hayman family. Our goal and our passion is to support public school students in South Jersey by ensuring that their bellies and their minds are filled. Students can't learn to their full potential when they are hungry, and their families can't support their learning when they can't afford school lunches or groceries. Hungry Minds seeks to help those public school students and families who may or may not qualify for government assistance but have food security issues nonetheless. Hungry Minds also supports students’ academic opportunities via scholarships in partnership with Rowan University.
