The Royal Netherlands Association for Meteorology and Astronomy (abbreviated in Dutch to: KNVWS) has invested itself since 1901 in popularising meteorology and astronomy. We are a national umbrella organisation with tens of associations, foundations and public observatories that are active in practising, promoting and popularising meteorology and astronomy for the general public and amateur community alike.
