Casa da Arquitectura - Portuguese Centre for Architecture, created in 2007, is an association of cultural character without lucrative means, dedicated to the affirmation and divulgation of architecture nationally and internationally. Casa da Arquitectura (CA) intends to feed the need, in Portugal, of an institution that treats, receives and makes accessible to all the documental collections of different architects promoting simoultaneously disciplinary reflexions and taking architecture to the knowledgement and understanding of the general public. Its action involves not only architects, but people and entities from several cultural and social areas that encourage and help the mission they believe, in the public interest of Architecture.
