Cada Vida = Spanish for “Each Life”. Cada Vida Foundation was born in Medellin, Colombia, with the fierce mission of empowering women who have undergone inevitable changes in their lives, and must now be leaders of their households, assuming multiple roles and serving as captain of their lives. Some of them have been through incredible loss and trauma, yet we believe that each life has immense value and a unique potential contribution which the world lacks. Therefore, we serve as a non-profit organization to train, polish and optimize women’s skills and potential to stimulate their progress and development. Most importantly we promote a change of mentality to set our women free from victimisation and charm them towards a self-trust and confidence path in order to help them thrive within their own capabilities. We believe by changing these women’s lives, we are able to change their families, which will lead to a change in their communities and consequently a change in the world. However, as much as we believe and cherish the feminine courageous strength, this program does not attempt to exclude anybody. Its a family-welcoming opportunity for those in the search of taking charge of their own valuable lives. The mission involves a women recruitment process, followed by a whole year of training sessions, from our coworking space in Medellin, where they can enjoy free-internet access, as well as seminars and coaching sessions regarding subjects from home budget balancing and planning, self-esteem, image and entrepreneurial skills. We also offer work placement advice and financial aid for the women to ideally to start their own businesses. We want to offer these women the grand opportunity of becoming self-sufficient and transforming their destinies.
