CIPT is working s on the principle of conservation and optimal utilization of water resources and improving household income and livelihood in a fast-paced world where challenges are evolving exponentially. CIPT aims at designing and implementing sustainable water solutions in some of the most exigent scenarios by applying rigorous, multidisciplinary academic research to solve difficult on-the-ground water resource and climate-related water risk problems, enhance food production and create value chains thereby help in enhancing incomes and improving livelihoods.
