Mission: The mission of the Eye Bank of Kentucky is to restore sight through corneal transplant, ocular research and medical education. We will promote eye, organ and tissue donation while respecting and honoring the donors and their families who so selflessly give. Core Values: -Respect -Integrity -Trust -Compassion The Eye Bank of Kentucky is an accredited member of the Eye Bank Association of America, VisionShare member and is registered with the U.S. Food & Drug Administration. The KLEB holds a current State of California Tissue Bank License and a Health Canada CTO Registration Certificate. These allow the EBKY to provide corneal tissue for transplantation to surgeons in California and Canada. The Eye Bank of Kentucky currently serves 115 counties in Kentucky, 4 in Indiana, and 2 in West Virginia. We are proud to partner with the Kentucky Organ Donor Affiliates (KODA) and Trust for Life (TFL) in eye, tissue and organ donation.
