MultiGeneration starts by converting a large 3 story home or townhouse. We build out 6 to 8 bedrooms for Seniors, each with their own bathroom on the second and third floor. These are for older adults who no longer want to be on their own. There is a personal attendant in the house 8 hours a day. On the bottom or basement floor, we have our preschool, with a maximum of 16 children. We subsidize the cost of these preschools. A parent is paying $5 to $10 a day, for their child. We also provide lunches. And if there is a need, breakfast and dinner for the kids. Here we show the kids the importance of nutrition: fruits, vegetables, solid proteins. We have found that when children are with other children they eat and try new things much easier. Studies are showing that if a child is not getting the proper nutritional requirements, they are paying a serious detrimental price as a teenager. Cognitive functions are drastically lower than what they should be. We encourage our Seniors to bond with the children, know their names, their likes and dislikes. Really get to know them while hopefully forming lifelong bonds. The mental and emotional strength a child acquires by truly knowing and feeling safe with an older adult is magnificent
