Ocean Studies Charter School
www.oceanstudiescharterschool.orgOcean Studies Charter School, located in Key Largo, FL at MM100, is an A-rated tuition free public elementary school based on the best practices of accelerated learning, and offers a rigorous academic program, producing students who meet or exceed the Florida State Standards in English, language arts, math, science, and social studies. The school’s marine science program ensures that our students have the opportunity to explore and interact with the natural environment around them, thereby stimulating an interest in research and experimentation. This, along with a Montessori foundation, nurtures curiosity, creativity, and imagination, encouraging children to become independent and self-motivated learners. Our elementary school is in its tenth year and we are currently developing a middle-school program for grades 6-8, enabling students to expand their scientific and intellectual horizons and become the environmental stewards of tomorrow! The ’21-’22 school year is excited to welcome 6th grade and the ’22 – ’23 school year will include 7th & 8th grade, as well!
