New Stork City was started in 2016 by Meredith Butler who has worked as a nurse for nine years helping take care of the youngest New Yorkers and their moms after giving birth. Through her practice, Meredith noticed a need for better education for expecting families. New Stork City was developed to empower parents through education to help them feel prepared for parenthood. Her classes instill confidence in new parents and caretakers and ease the nerves of new parents by teaching them what to do in an emergency. Her classes are ideal for expecting parents (especially first time parents) as well as parents, grandparents, or caretakers who want to learn infant/child CPR and safety.
