Bridges of Understanding is a non-profit, non political organization devoted to supporting projects and efforts that foster better understanding between the American people and people of the Arab world. Vision: Improving understanding and appreciation between the American people and people of the Arab world in order to help shed misconceptions on both sides. Mission: As facilitators of change we aim to create spheres of influence among future opinion leaders, inspiring them to affect positive change and support initiatives that encourage better understanding, dialogue, and appreciation between peoples of different cultures. Bridges of Understanding organizes mission trips to Jordan and other parts of the world, supports educational efforts and facilitates the exchange of information.
