Neighborhood Development Services (NDS) serves Portage and other northeastern Ohio communities. NDS’ mission is to the revitalization of neighborhoods and communities through the provision and/or promotion of affordable housing, environmental sustainability, economic development, and job creation primarily for the benefit of low and moderate-income households. NDS’ programs include multi-family rental development, home repair programs, housing counseling, homebuyer education, economic development loans, foreclosure prevention services and loan servicing.
