New York MGMA, a state affiliate of MGMA, provides seasoned veterans and new practice leaders with the education, resources and knowledge sharing to be effective in their role within the administrator and physician leadership team. The leaders of New York MGMA work to ensure that New York MGMA is the recognized resource for the improvement of the performance of medical practice management professionals. Our Goals -Develop the growth of the local chapters to focus on regional differences which exist in the healthcare community. -Improve the skills of our members to lead their practice through the continuum of change in healthcare. -Facilitate the networking among and between members across the state. -Promote certification as a medical practice leader through the American College of Medical Practice Executives (ACMPE), a nationally recognized forum to enhance the skill-set of practice leaders.
