The HKPolyU Racing Team PR-D is a student-led university racing team at The Hong Kong Polytechnic University. We are the first team to ever represent Hong Kong in the FSAE competition. Established in 2015. We have designed and manufactured 2 electric vehicle racing cars and participated in the 2017 and 2018 racing season in Formula Student Electric China (FSEC). We will go on forward into joining more international FSAE competition around the world. Our team are comprised of various students from different majors and differing backgrounds. With over 50 engineering members, each engineering (sub) team is responsible for designing, researching, and manufacturing. Leader and team members hold meeting every week to collaborate, discuss progress, and make decision in order to achieve our dream. The team is supported by The Hong Kong Polytechnic University and Industrial Center. In addition, supports from our past alumni, external experts from the automotive industry, and Formula 1 engineers. Our team involved multi-discipline students, including students from Engineering, Business, and Design field.
