The Mob Shop is a full-service bike shop located in Ojai, CA. We believe in the bicycle's transformative power, and we think everyone is a rider. We think of the bicycle as a vehicle for wellness and even enlightenment...if you pedal in the right direction. We sell and service bicycles, rent bicycles, and host cycling events. No matter how you come to know us, our desire is the same: to impart to you the joy and gratification that we feel every time we put our feet on the pedals (think 6-years-old flying downhill!). Elizabeth West, author of Hovel in the Hills, may have best expressed our feelings about the bicycle: "When man invented the bicycle, he reached the peak of his attainments. Here was a machine of precision and balance for the convenience of man. And (unlike subsequent inventions of man's convenience) the more he used it, the fitter his body became. Here, for once, was a product of man's brain that was entirely beneficial to those who used it, and of no harm or irritation to others."
