BILLSUM has shared its product idea with the VC community in 2017 and 2 global software firms in 2018 and 2019 along with my former employer, Thomson Reuters where the idea originated as well as other legal software firms. Our venture received very positive feedback, but timing has not been optimal for these firms. This venture has now been put aside as it does not fit the current business strategy or future plans of the legal software firms who have e-billing tools that could be easily converted to track other spends.
