IAE is a small team of experts fluent in Aviation English. Whether you’re looking to start a flight or ATC career or simply want to improve your English ICAO levels, we’re here to help you navigate your way through the language requirements of the industry. We are the only organisation in Hong Kong to receive approval from HKCAD to conduct the ICAO English Exam. This gives us a unique position to teach prospective candidates how to approach the ICAO English Exam. Before an individual considers training or applying for a cadetship, they need to know how their English proficiency scores is in reference to the ICAO rating scale. To find out, take our CheckPoint assessment, which is in line with the ICAO rating, and provides a comprehensive and in-depth analysis of abilities, giving a reliable indication of readiness before applying for a cadet programme. If you are already ATC or airline crew, you may still benefit from IAE's personalised training courses that are specifically designed to help improve ICAO ratings. We also offer a 'Command Toolkit' programme to assist in all aspects of the command course, taught by a Senior Training Captain with a Hong Kong Airline and a HKCAD Authorised examiner.
