Muscup for World Peace Foundation builds the foundation of peace in holistic approach of culture of peace piece by piece through peaceful means from the bottom-up in collaboration with the top-down. It is guided by the United Nations Declaration and Program of Action A/RES/53/243 for the Global Movement of Culture of Peace as well as the Canadian Charter of Rights and Freedoms and the Canadian Multiculturalism Policy. The Foundation has strategized to change the world from a culture of war to a culture of peace. For this end, it is in action to germinate culture of peace in individuals, embed in the family, nurture in the community, and harvest in the neighbourhood. These actions are performed through the art of conflict resolutions to repair the broken fabrics community relationships and the application of the science of peace to change the attitudes and behaviors of the human minds. Muscup for World peace Foundation is prepared to overcome the resistance for change. The preparations focus on building organizational culture of peace from inside-out by synchronizing its specific objectives with its goal and mission for the vision comes to reality. In its not-for-profit nature, the organization accomplishes its mission beyond democratic leadership. It is a model for the 21st Century coaching and servant leadership of consensus driven by the youthful synergy craving for change emerging from the old. In thinking globally, our multicultural garden city is a registered “Toronto International City of Peace” as a microcosm for the rest of Canada and beyond. In acting locally, the Foundation has already begun the process of building “Neighbourhood Government of Peace”: NGOP® from the bottom-up harnessed with participatory democracy under the laws of servant leadership.
