Established in 2009, the Miguel Contreras Foundation (MCF) is a 501(c)(3) program partner the Los Angeles County Federation of Labor, AFL-CIO (LA Fed), and housed at the LA Fed, with a mission to empower working Angelenos - especially immigrants and communities of color - by advancing greater equity through access to good quality jobs and livable communities. MCF's programs seek to ensure that Los Angeles County supports underserved workers who are the backbone of our thriving economy: immigrants and other workers of color, individuals re entering the workforce after incarceration, and women.
