Iversen Consulting was founded as a result to the increased export from Denmark to Canada. In 2013 Canada's imports from Denmark, totaled about C$ 998 million and is still increasing. Canada has become one of the largest growing export markets for Denmark and we believe there is much more to offer the Canadian market. Canada and Denmark seem very similar in cultures however, there are big differences. Canada is a massive country and has a steady stream of new immigrants every year. This results in many different culture groups spread all over Canada. Iversen Consulting’s knowledge in both the Danish and Canadian cultures will increase the success rate for new companies and products in the Canadian market. We are working as a consulting and commercial agency for Danish exporters. Large financial costs are involved when companies want to establish themselves in a new market like Canada. Starting a sales office or sister company with expenses on market research is very costly. In Canada, the CEO of a sister company must be a permanent resident of Canada or a Canadian citizen.
