The Worshipful Company of Plaisterers, the 46th Livery Company of the City of London, exists to encourage excellence in all aspects of plastering. The Livery Company continues to develop the ancient values that it adopted on first receiving a Royal Charter in 1501. Its aim now is to maintain a vibrant, sustainable future for the Livery and its membership. The purpose of the Worshipful Company of Plaisterers is to support and make a difference to the industry we represent, the charities we assist, our affiliations with the Armed Forces, and the Lord Mayor and the City of London. In particular, the Company supports the Plastering and Drylining Industry through its Associates Scheme, College Mentoring and the Plaisterers’ Annual Training Awards. It offers a number of bursaries to students and trained practitioners who wish to enhance their knowledge or experience. The Company is proud to continue its long tradition of good fellowship in the beautiful surroundings of Plaisterers’ Hall, which provides one of the finest venues in the City of London for banqueting and catering.
