This magnificent church, steeped in the history of Syracuse, is a place where all are welcome to make their home, hear the positive message of God's love, and in turn spread that love, in service, to others. Assumption Church and its outreach ministries, brings the Gospel message of peace, reconciliation and love to our neighbors on Syracuse’s Northside. Assumption Church is home to a parish dating back to 1845. Today this community draws members from all over CNY who worship and form community in the inclusive, down-to-earth spirit of Saints Francis and Clare of Assisi.
