Civil Engineering Institute "IG" LLC was registered in Banja Luka in 2001; this year it celebrates 15 years of activity. In the beginning, it was conceived as a technical support for Integral engineering with regard to monitoring the quality of implementation and drafting as built drawings. The progress in civil engineering as an economic branch has directly affected the development of the Institute so that during a period of 15 years it became one of leading consultancy companies both in Republic of Srpska, and BiH. Current organization in the Institute is divided into three business centers and three offices in the total area of about 2000 square meters. Civil Engineering Institute currently employs about 160 employees, out of which 85% have faculty education, i.e. experts and technicians of all profiles in order to respond more and more strict demands of the investors. Apart from experts, the Institute also employs scientists, PhDs, Masters of Science and thus it is registered as a scientific-research institution in the list of Ministry of Science and Technology. That we do not think only about today, several our scholars in undergraduate and postgraduate studies prove. Technical capacity is substantiated not only in personnel but in equipment which is at such high level that today the Institute disposes of the cutting-edge central laboratory for testing materials, concrete, asphalt, and geomechanics. Apart from that, it disposes of 3 movable ecological laboratories, 5 sets of GPS geodetic equipment, complete equipment with licensed software in all organizational units. Expert and the technological component is based on adequate licenses in both entities and Brcko District of both individuals and the company, and on the integrated system of quality by ISO 9001, ISO 14001 and OHSAS 18001.
