SPHERAG was founded in May 2020 to provide a holistic solution that features smart devices that can be managed from a web platform and/or mobile app. Its founders identified the opportunity to offer actuator devices that integrate and enhance the use of the Internet of Things (IoT) and that do not require the deployment of dedicated infrastructure for wireless communication. These actuators are connected to elements of an irrigation installation: pumps, agitators, filters, irrigation valves and fertiliser spreader valves, allowing the control and programming of these elements. Our vision is to offer an efficient and sustainable fertigation solution that is 100% autonomous, powered by artificial intelligence (AI) to improve decision-making. Key to this is data collection, processing and decision making from the cloud (cloud intelligence).
