Deutsche Universität für Weiterbildung - Berlin University for Professional Studies is Germany’s first state-approved continuing education university. As a new type of university, DUW combines the highest standards of academic quality in research and teaching with comprehensive service to the student. Founded in 2008 by Freie Universität Berlin and Klett Group, DUW has become a part of the worldwide Steinbeis Network since 2013. DUW's study and research activities comprise numerous part-time degree programmes at master level (M.A., M.Sc., MBA), a broad range of certificate programmes, and specific corporate programmes in close cooperation with German and international partners from the corporate world. DUW is a founding partner and academic member institution of Carl Benz Academy (Beijing-Berlin-Los Angeles).
