Chamber of Commerce & Industry Tasmania

www.tcci.com.au

The Chamber of Commerce & Industry Tasmania is an independent membership organisation seeking to positively lead the Tasmanian business community by ensuring the best interests of all our members are represented at a Regional, State, National and even International level. We achieve this through our representation, our involvement and our preparedness to discover how we can influence better results for Tasmanian businesses. The Chamber is built on sound foundations first laid down more than 160 years ago with the establishment of the Hobart and Launceston chambers, even before the arrival of representative government in 1856. The Chamber is the only Tasmanian business organisation in a position to call on the national power of business across the country through its foundation membership of the Australian Chamber of Commerce and Industry. The ACCI, which covers 350,000 businesses with more than four million employees, is the largest business organisation in Australia. The Chamber is committed to lean effective management, closely connected and listening to its members, and firmly focussed on leading a business revival of the Tasmanian economy. The Chamber will continue to provide over-arching leadership to the business community and draw together business organisations across Tasmania, as well as pursuing its traditional role as the primary provider of advice and support for small business, particularly in specialist fields such as IR and HR.
