Teresina 2030 is a urban innovation and experimentation think tank within the public sector - the Municipality of Teresina -Brazil. The main objective of Teresina 2030 is to implement an open government and smart city strategy in the Municipality of Teresina by using a five-steps methodology: [1] to monitor the Sustainable Development Goals in the local scale and give global projection to local initiatives; [2] identify priorities and measure indicators related to sustainability and urban resilience, sharing the results in open format; [3] Prototype low-cost tools and methodologies to tackle climate change; [4] influence and advise local government, private sector and civil society in the decision-making process and; [5] Escalate and re-aplicate the methodology in other developing countries.
