International Healthcare Leadership was founded at Columbia University Mailman School of Public Health. IHL is an independent non-profit organization developed to train Chinese healthcare professionals how to incorporate healthcare public policy into healthcare reform and hospital management. Armed with the evidence-based management tools and public health best practices, Chinese healthcare professionals will become “change agents” in their hospitals, businesses, universities, and government organizations to provide better, safer services and quality of care. Participants in IHL programs will gain access to the IHL alumni network affecting the health of millions and helping to address systemic barriers to healthcare distribution.
