Healthy Options Australia (HOA) is a not for profit organisation committed to helping people build better lives. Since inception in 1849, our Foundation has grown to become one of the largest providers of alcohol and other drugs, mental health, information and research, education and training, family support and youth services in Australia. These solutions are delivered through three autonomous subsidiary organisations that share insights and capabilities where relevant – Drug ARM Australasia, Mental Health Association Qld and the Australian College of Community Services. At our core is a passion to support people, families and communities and improve physical, mental and spiritual health by addressing the damaging effects that alcohol and other drugs and mental health can have in people’s lives. Our community has a vision to see flourishing people and communities where anyone who is affected or at risk of being affected by alcohol and other drugs or mental health has someone there to support them.
