IceGen specializes in the design and installation of commercial and industrial cooling systems utilizing slurry ice. Slurry ice is a fluid consisting of a brine and ice crystals; when the crystals are harvested properly the resulting fluid is a high energy density coolant. It has superior energy density and heat transfer characteristics as well as lower power requirements for pumping, making the fluid an ideal cooling agent. The IceGen system requires 12-30% less energy than other coolant systems and can be used to produce cooling during off-peak generation hours. The IceGen can be provided a s a turnkey system or custom designed, utilizing smaller HVAC pipes and a single motor.
