Gulf Earth Moving WLL (GEM) is subsidiary of the Belgian Aertssen group, purposed to serve large scale reclamation shore protection, earthmoving and soil improvement projects in Qatar. Beside GEM, Aertssen group also has a company in the UAE under the name Earth Moving Worldwide Ltd. The strength of the company is the support of the various departments, that all have the same goal. Through the cooperation of these various departments we succeed every time to achieve our targets within the set deadlines. GEM is specialized in large earthmoving, mining, quarrying, rock excavation, aggregate crushing, coastal protection installation, soil compaction and heavy lifting. For earthmoving we have a wide range of large excavators, wheel loaders, bulldozers, dump trucks and the necessary auxiliary equipment (hammers, rippers,..). For the coastal protection (armour rock, acropodes, …) installation our equipment is installed with grapples, clamps as well as GPS and/or echoscope. Soil compaction is done by HEIC (High Energy Impact Compaction), basic roller compaction or deep compaction by vibroflotation. Our mechanics are highly specialized in the maintenance of our contemporary earthmoving equipment’s. Their up-to-date knowledge is an indispensable asset for a high-quality service and repair of the machines on site or in our fully-equipped workshop. As a result of our highly experienced staff, professional organization and full technical and design support from Belgium, we can guarantee an availability of our equipment of 95 % at all times.
