We guarantee a consistent approach on every instruction and that is why we have developed our own in-house Costs Recovery Process that remains at the forefront of our minds throughout the detailed assessment proceedings and on every single instruction. We provide a firm but fair approach to costs recovery and we inform the paying party of our clear intentions at the outset of each case and invite early settlement proposals. If no offers are forthcoming we will quickly move on to the next stage of the process. We will request a provisional/detailed assessment hearing no later than 42 days of service of the bill of costs if we are unable to agree costs.
