The Supply Chain and Operations Management Club (SCOMC) at the Schulich School of Business aims to help graduate students gain the skills and knowledge to thrive in the business world of operations and supply chain management. The club facilitates students to gain insights on real-world problems, trends and opportunities that surround global supply chains and develop an understanding of how they can utilize their background, experience, and their learning at Schulich to solve problems and drive decisions for businesses. The club strives to facilitate the academic and professional development of students by showcasing the latest trends and developments in supply chains across a wide range of industries such as retail, CPG, banking, financial services, energy, healthcare, and technology to name a few. Students also learn about the variety of career opportunities within the function in areas such as procurement, business operations, project management, logistics, inventory management, demand planning and sustainability. Through various events held throughout the year and a plethora of resources that help students upskill and grow in their careers, SCOMC provides a platform for students to deepen their knowledge of operations and supply chain management, build their network by connecting them with experienced professionals and industry leaders, and grow their careers in this exciting area.
